Agapito R. "Pete" Villarreal, 50, of Victoria passed away Thursday, May 18, 2017. He was born November 26, 1966 in Laredo to the Graciela Villarreal and the late Pedro Villarreal. He served his country in the United States Marines. Pete was employed by Frito Lay, and he was a member of Faith Family Church.

Survivors include his wife, Maggie Meyer Villarreal; his mother, Graciela Villarreal; sisters, Coty and Belin Villarreal; brothers, Armando (Laura) Villarreal, Alfonso (Claudia) Villarreal, Pedro (Lucy) Villarreal and Jose (Letty) Rodriguez; sister-in-law, Billie (Richard) Itz; his pasture checking side-kick, Beth; numerous...

Survivors include his wife, Maggie Meyer Villarreal; his mother, Graciela Villarreal; sisters, Coty and Belin Villarreal; brothers, Armando (Laura) Villarreal, Alfonso (Claudia) Villarreal, Pedro (Lucy) Villarreal and Jose (Letty) Rodriguez; sister-in-law, Billie (Richard) Itz; his pasture checking side-kick, Beth; numerous nieces and nephews; and his precious fur babies, Frito and Kaspar.

Pete was an awesome husband, son, brother, companion, friend and man of God. He loved working with his cattle and fishing. He will be sorely missed.

Visitation will be from 6 - 7 pm Monday, May 22, 2017 at Rosewood Funeral Chapels. A funeral service will follow at 7 pm with Rev. David Rose officiating. Graveside services with full military honors under the auspices of the Victoria Veterans Council will be at 10 am Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Frank Watson, Ron Aschen, Josh Gonzales, E. J. Filip, Robbie Angerstein, Juan Pena, Buddy Gildon.
